1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for, accessing, or using BillBook.in ("the Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BillBook.in provides cloud-based billing, inventory management, GST compliance, and analytics software for businesses in India. Our services are offered on a subscription basis and include modules such as Pharma Retail and Retail Business management.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately at support@billbook.in of any unauthorized use of your account.
• One account per business entity. Multiple user logins within the same business are permitted under a single subscription.

4. Subscription and Payment

• Access to the Service requires a valid subscription. Plans and pricing are available at billbook.in/pricing.
• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis depending on your chosen plan.
• Payments are processed securely via Razorpay. BillBook.in does not store your payment card details.
• All prices are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' prior notice to registered users.

5. Free Trial

New users may be offered a free trial period. At the end of the trial, a paid subscription is required to continue using the Service. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue free trial offers at any time.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or another user's account.
• Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written consent.
• Use the Service to store or transmit data that violates any applicable law or regulation.

7. Data Ownership and Privacy

• You retain full ownership of all business data you enter into the Service (invoices, inventory, customer records, etc.).
• We process your data solely to provide and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Upon account termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days. After that period, data may be permanently deleted.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We shall not be liable for any loss arising from temporary unavailability of the Service.

9. Intellectual Property

All software, content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property on BillBook.in are owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our intellectual property without prior written consent.

10. Termination

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@billbook.in.
• We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.
• Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BillBook.in shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
